Australian’s throw out eight billion dollars worth of food each year. That’s the equivalent of 400,000 tonnes of edible food, gone! And why did we call it ‘Don’t feed the ducks’ Bread Vodka? Well, bread provides little or no nutritional value for ducks, so that favourite childhood activity of feeding bread to them actually can do more harm than good as it causes excessive weight gain and malnutrition (among other problems) — the solution? Give the bread to us to make booze instead!
